Deigo Maradona, one of the best soccer players of all time, had just celebrated his 60th birthday and in less than a week he was admitted to a clinic in La Plata with signs of depression, anaemia and dehydration. Donato Villani, the head of Argentine national teams’s medical staff, said the procedure was “complicated” by Maradonnas past treatment for cardiac problems and uses of drugs and alcohol.
Maradona fell ill on October 30th while coaching the Argentine first division team Gimnasia Y Esgrima and had left before the end of the first half of the game,as he had issues with regards to his health.Dr Luque said an accident might have caused the hematoma as Maradona did not recall any falls or mishaps. However the surgery was a success and he was taken back to home to stay with his daughters.
The football legend left the clinic in Buenos Aires where he underwent the procedure on Wednesday and will continue his recovery at home.Dr.Luque the neurologists told the journalists that had “authorized the release” .The star’s lawyer ,Matias Morla said Maradona will continue to receive treatment for alcohol dependency.
