Gas Explosion in a house in Lincolnshire. Owner manages to escape

A huge gas explosion caused by gas happened in Holly Close in Bourn, in a village in Lincolnshire at about 9.10 GMT which has destroyed the house. A male occupant suffered injuries and is “little shaken”, according to the Lincolnshire police.

 

However other occupants managed to escape the property somehow unhurt. The Emergency Services were called to the property at 9.13 am on Sunday. Fire and gas services remained on the scene and roads in the area were closed.

 

Total damage to the property

Users took the matter to social media which was rather shocking indeed after the picture of the destroyed building and was posted on the Lincolnshire Polices’ Twitter, Facebook, etc. people were describing as it looked like a war zone, hope everyone is safe, etc. the property front was totally ripped apart with a collapsed roof.

 

The Lincolnshire police said that the scene has been assessed and it has been deemed that there is no need to evacuate any other houses.
