Man arrested in Jammu for sharing vital information with Pak handlers: Report

Pak Agent Arrested In Jammu, Had Shared Vital Info With His Handlers: Police

Jammu: Pankaj Sharma, a resident of Tarore village in Samba, was arrested in an area under the jurisdiction of Trikuta Nagar Police Station on specific information, a police official said.

The official said the accused Pankaj Sharma was in touch with his handlers in Pakistan for the past few years and had sent “them photos and videos of vital areas and installations mostly in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts via social media platforms in lieu of monetary gains”.

Sharma told investigating agencies that ” He shared photos of some bridges on the national highway in border areas to his handlers in Pakistan, the sources said. He received money in return in two bank accounts which reportedly belong to him “.

The bank account of Sharma is being analysed for suspicious transactions and investigations are underway , said the officials
