Superstar Rajinikanth was in Hyderabad city last week for the shoot of his upcoming film “Annathe” but it had to be cancelled after four members in the movie crew tested positive for the coronavirus. Rajinikanth was tested negative for the virus though. But later the 70 year old was admitted to Apollo Hospitals because of “severe fluctuations” in his blood pressure and exhaustion. He has got discharged today with nothing alarmingly wrong in his health according to the doctors.
Though the medical update had said that doctors had found no major health problems with him, they were waiting for some more investigative reports before confirming the discharge. However today he is being discharged in view of his improved medical condition. His blood pressure has been stabilised and the superstar is feeling much better and safe. Speaking of which the doctors had advised him “full bed rest” for a week , minimal physical activity and to avoid stress.
The superstars health concerns has come now just days ahead of the planned launch of his new political party “Makkal Needhi Maiam”. His new role is expected to play a major role in the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections scheduled for May 2021. His fellow actor Kamal Haasan had tweeted a speedy recovery on Christmas day. Also Tamil Nadu CM too had spoken to the actor and wished him a quick recovery.
